Experience
Production manager
6 years as Production Manager of the largest Portuguese PVC work-boots injection factory, responsible for the manufacture, planning and control of all production sectors (130 people), including finish lines, packaging and textile manufacture, raw material stocks and recycling.
17 years as Production Manager in two distinct plastic injection manufacture companies with all same responsibilities as above, plus definition and control of all molds for plastic injection. Administration board member, buying department and IT sectors. Startup of several new production lines, including injection, plastic welding, deco & serigraphy. Quality certification according to 9002 ISO QASystem, later to 9001 ISO (includes product conception, engineering and design).
6 years Project, implantation and start up of brand new plastic injection and packaging company created specifically to inject very high cycle technical components, fully automated and robotized, from zero to start up in 8 months, including Industrial licensing. Start up, control and full management of the company for its first 6 years.
7 years as Production manager in two distinct plastic injection companies. Injection, molds, technical formation of workers, system coordination and improvement.
4 years as self employed consulting and formation on Production technologies, engineering and improved planning.
Computer Programming
Started programming in Cobol 50 years ago. Then in Assembly with my good old Spectrum machine 45 years ago, and never stopped since. Programming in C, C++ and Pascal Delphi now for many years.
Built a few Linux servers and workstations, some of which still work non-stop after 16 years, working as email, web and network servers. Free and easy.
Teaching
Experienced in training people for Plastics injection manufacture, production, control and mold technology.
Consulting in Plastics and Mold making technology and industrial organization.
External formator on CENFIM (Training Center of Marinha Grande for plastics and molds).
